Riot's published enforcement targets account sharing — giving someone your login to play for you. Duo boosting on your own account does not involve account sharing, so it does not create the login anomalies that flag accounts. It is structurally the same as duo queuing with a higher-ranked friend.
How is this safer than a normal elo boost?
A normal elo boost relies on account sharing: a booster logs in as you. That creates a new login location, a different device fingerprint, and a champion pool that does not match your history — the exact signals used to detect boosting. Own-account duo boosting removes all of them.
Do you ever ask for my Riot password?
